Maserati GranTurismo: the lowdown
Maserati has finally revealed its new GranTurismo coupe, the replacement for the ageing Coupe/Gransport. As you can probably tell from these first photos, the newcomer is based on the existing Quattroporte saloon. The similarities go further than just the tasty curves - the new coupe will share most of its running gear with its GT sister, including the same 4.2-litre V8.
The Environmental Protection Agency released its emissions and fuel-economy report for 2010. Adjusted emissions are down across the board, at 395 grams of carbon dioxide per mile. That's a record low for the post-1975 database.
The four-eyed Mercedes E-class is dead. Ushered in with this facelifted-for-2013 version of the executive express stalwart are refreshed looks, better engines and new safety systems. Mercedes claims the new E-class is the cleanest in the executive class, and that much of the car's gadgetry will also be seen on the upcoming S-class limo.
